Background

Methods
Weevaluatedmorphology,viability,andproliferationofculturedumbilicalcord-derivedMSCs(C-UCMSCs)andfreshlythawedumbilicalcord-derivedMSCs(T-UCMSCs)atpassage10invitro.Inanimalexperiments,wecreatedaFTDinthesupraspinatusofratsandinjectedtheinjuredtendonwithsaline,cryopreservedagent(CPA;control),C-UCMSCs,andT-UCMSCs,respectively.Twoand4weekslater,macroscopic,histological,biomechanical,andcelltraffickingwereevaluated.TtestandANOVAwereusedwithSPSS.Differenceswithp.05wereconsideredstatisticallysignificant.
